With an ever increasing range of responsibilities, it has become harder for the Parish Council to do everything it needs to do within the restraints of one Parish Council meeting every other month.
To that end we have established a number of working groups, currently made up of Councillors but open to members of the public (excluding Finance and Employment), who meet outside the bi-monthly meetings and have the responsibility of discussing, exploring and developing ideas and then reporting back to the Parish Council with recommendations. They have no decision making powers but simply present the Council with their findings. Nevertheless, their ability to give particular topics that much more time outside an agenda driven meeting is invaluable.

Highways and Footpaths Working Group:
Cllrs Elizabeth Glover (Chair), John Jackson and Ed Rogers. This group has a quorum of 2.
Planning Working Group:
Cllrs Brendan Beal (Chair), John Jackson and Ed Rogers. This group has a quorum of 3.
Finance Working Group:
Cllrs John Jackson (Chair), Elizabeth Glover and Hugh Bodington, with the Clerk/RFO. This group has a quorum of 3.
Employment Working Group:
Cllrs John Jackson (Chair) and Hugh Bodington. This group has a quorum of 2.
